I’ve noticed a micro-stutter occurring whenever a card gets flipped over or after an enemy attacks. I’m unsure if it’s the game, Unity, or my system. Wondering if you or anyone else has this issue.
It’s Dungeon Raid 0.3 for Windows on Windows 10. The web works perfectly fine, so been looking through my Unity and PC but I can’t find anything. Want to see if there’s anything that’s not on my end. Might be my cache?
I got blindness early on because I used the Chaos spell, and i couldn't find any way to get rid of it, so by the time I got to the final boss fight, I really was just going at it randomly.
Not bad at all. I like the food/stress bar you have to keep an eye on and strategize around it. At least for these first couple characters. I made a brief review of it here at 0:19:
Feedback on the Gold Glove item: it’s potentially worth it if you get it as a starting item (though only if the other items are worse), but it’s essentially never worth buying for 15 gold, because you’ll be unlikely to make that back by the end of the game.
Consider either dropping it entirely, making it cheaper, or perhaps making items sell for more than 1 gold (e.g. a quarter of their item value).
I'd like to check out the Turkish localization and point out any errors if you'd like (voluntarily, of course). One example is at Magic Apple, it reads "When trap cards are opened, no food can be taken". I assume this should mean "food isn't decreased when trap cards are opened" but the translation does not convey the effect.

Really cool game! One thing I did notice is that it can be hard to tell what some of the cards do. Especially Increase/Decrease on certain cards. On some cards "Increasing Hunger" means means you get more hungry, while some cards has "Increasing Hunger" meaning your max hunger goes up. Same thing with HP.
As an example, I had a Vampire run, where I build it around having high HP and gaining points on the hunger-bar every flip, meaning I could use the vampire bites to do mad damage. I lost at boss, because of buying a balance card at wave 29, that said "Increase Hunger 1.5x while Decreasing HP 2x" - Because of how the other cards are worded, I took it as meaning, I would get 1.5x more hungry, while taking 50% less damage. It turned out my hunger bar got multiplied by 1.5 and my MAX HP GOT HALVED?
I also noticed that gaining gold is way too easy compared to how rare it is to see the shop. I end most runs with +50 un-used gold.
This game has a lot of potential, though I would generally love to see more clarify on what each card does.
i usually hate anything that isn't action-packed with shit flying everywhere and exploding and stuff... but this game is fucking awesome!!! genuinely one of the most chill and fun experiences i've sat down to have in a while. all i'd recommend is a little tutorial. other than that, great job!
Great game honestly! I died on the 22nd floor as the knight. I do not understand how I am supposed to get rid of the Weakness effect whenever I get, as that would disable the usage of my knife, which could have come in clutch numerous times. Eventually died to a noise trap activating very buffed enemies. I dig the artwork a lot!
IMO enemies should be dealing you damage when you USE the key, but NOT when you exit. It's the same thing, just that I think this makes more sense. Or if you don't like that, you could make one of the next classes be immune to damage when you exit a level!
A suggestion, when you get to chose a reward, or are at the shop, have an NPC/Shopkeeper say something that could give you a clue on the boss, so that you could prepare yourself, even on the first run :)
Or if the bosses are random, then they could give clues to which it is. Again, great game.
Honestly you saying you aren't into deck builders, when you haven't tried any others baffles me. You should definitely check out other deck building games, they are super underated.
Really, is it such an exotic phenomenon? I mean, don't you have any thing in your life that you didn't try because you didn't feel the vibe? It's not even a logical contradiction whatsoever - it's impossible to be into something without even trying it.

Just completed a run as Vampire without ever taking or using a weapon card.
Great idea! The vampire was supposed to be with minimal use of weapons. The rest of the characters have the same distinctive gameplay planned.

I don't understand how a game can work well on the web, but badly on a computer, because it's the same build:(
I can only advise clearing the cache
1) at the address C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow delete the FourCats folder
2) delete the FourCats folder in the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ registry too
3) Download version 0.3.1
4) Launch the game

Why does a Fryed egg say it decreases hunger
Every 5th card played decreases hunger by 1 (like use 1 food card)
It's a bit confusing in the wording, the bar is increased not decreased. It increases satiety though.
The wording could work if filling the hunger bar made you more hungry. Like how stress works.
The wording should more closely reflect what happens to the bars.

Managed to get the knight up to 106 armor at peak. Still had 103 going into the boss, so the spell took them down in one hit.
Never had a single point of stress the entire game. Well-fed knight.

Yes, there will be achievements in the game. "Kill the boss with one punch" is one of them :)
But it will be difficult to get it, because the game will become more difficult ;)

I prefer that the character takes damage when escaping (exiting a level)
But yes, there will be one hero who will avoid traps and damage when exiting :)
It's still a great idea if you add a Rogue, just saying ;)

This game seems like it would fit well with a Slay-the-Spire-like map, where you could choose directions (e.g. battle, miniboss, shop, treasure).
I like this idea too, just beware of feature creep. But is probably less complicated than my idea :)
